Digital Scanner

Impression trays? They’re a thing of the past.

You’ve probably had a dental impression taken before. Whether your dentist will provide you with a crown, an inlay, a bruxism splint or braces: A model of your teeth is required for many kinds of treatments.

Shouldn’t this be possible without the uncomfortable process of biting down on impression material for several minutes? Absolutely!

An intraoral scanner lets us create an impression of your teeth quickly, precisely and digitally.

CBCT Machine

For better diagnosis

A Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) machine is a serious investment.

It is essentially an x-ray machine that detects airway issues (snoring, breathing and jaw joint issues), but it provides 3D images of teeth, soft-tissue, bones and nerves, all in one image.

As you can imagine, compared to a 2D image, this allows us to see your teeth in great detail, enabling an accurate diagnosis.

In this age where some patients may be concerned about the ill effects of radiation as a result of x-ray exposure – a 2D panoramic x-ray delivers twice the exposure dose of a CBCT. In fact, a banana in your cereal everyday for a year, would give you three times the radiation of a CBCT machine.

How it helps our patients?

EMS Airflow Machine

For gentle & effective teeth cleaning

The EMS Airflow Machine allows us to give our patients minimally invasive teeth cleaning.

A traditional scale and clean, for some patients, can be uncomfortable.

That’s why Beach Dentist have introduced EMS Airflow® technology, which allows for a much more gentle clean for sensitive teeth and gums.

This advanced system uses guided biofilm therapy (GBT) – this is combination of air, warm water and ultrafine powder to help remove plaque, calculus and certain stains from tooth surfaces.
