Are you self-conscious about your smile? Do you dream of having straighter teeth without the hassle of traditional braces? Then Invisalign may be the perfect solution for you. Invisalign is a cutting-edge orthodontic treatment that offers a discreet and comfortable alternative to conventional braces.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is the clear alternative to traditional braces that can help you achieve a straighter smile – faster.

Invisalign is a custom-molded, nearly invisible aligner made from durable plastic.

Unlike traditional braces which use wires to “pull” the teeth into alignment, Invisalign aligns the teeth by using a series of molds that, across a series of months, force your teeth into their new and improved position. These aligners are crafted from smooth, virtually invisible plastic, making them a discreet and comfortable option for individuals seeking a more inconspicuous way to achieve a straighter smile

How Does Invisalign Work?

We begin the Invisalign process with a comprehensive consultation with our orthodontic team. Using advanced 3D imaging technology, we create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your dental needs. This plan maps out the gradual movements your teeth will undergo during the course of the treatment.

Once your custom aligners are ready, you will wear a new set approximately every two weeks, gradually guiding your teeth into their new desired positions. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are removable, which means you can take them out for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing.

Top Benefits of Invisalign:

  • You can eat anything you want
  • Invisalign is virtually invisible
  • Takes less time to straighten your teeth than traditional braces
  • Allows you to have better dental health

What is the Treatment Process?

Consultation:

Your Invisalign journey begins with a comprehensive consultation. We assess your dental condition, discuss your treatment goals, and answer any questions you may have. If Invisalign is deemed suitable for your needs, we will proceed to the next step.

3D Imaging and Treatment Plan:

Advanced 3D imaging technology is used to create a digital model of your teeth. This model aids in designing a personalised treatment plan, showcasing the step-by-step movements of your teeth throughout the Invisalign process and giving you a sneak peek at your future smile.

Custom Aligner Fabrication:

Once your treatment plan is finalised, a series of custom aligners will be fabricated specifically for your teeth. Each set of aligners will be worn for around two weeks, gradually guiding your teeth into their desired new positions. Most patients need to use 18 to 30 aligners during the treatment to straighten their teeth.

Regular Check-ups:

Periodic check-ups with our Beach Dentists team are scheduled to monitor your progress and ensure that your treatment is proceeding as planned.

Refinements (if necessary):

In some cases, additional aligners may be required to fine-tune the results. These refinements are a normal part of the Invisalign process, ensuring that your smile achieves the desired alignment.

Retainers:

Once your Invisalign treatment is complete, we will provide you with custom retainers to maintain the new position of your teeth. Wearing retainers as directed is crucial for preventing any relapse and preserving the results of your Invisalign treatment.

What are the advantages of Invisalign?

They are (nearly) Invisible:

One of the best things about Invisalign is that they are almost invisible. This is especially good for adults and professionals who may feel self-conscious about wearing traditional braces.

Comfortable:

Traditional braces have metal brackets with sharp edges that can dig into your lips and cheeks. Invisalign aligners are made from smooth, comfortable plasticare and have more precise control over straightening your teeth. During your treatment, you will receive a set of aligners that slowly adjust your teeth horizontally, vertically, and rotationally until each tooth is set in its proper place. Each of these movements is precisely timed by professionals to be the most comfortable sequence possible.

Removable:

Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are removable. This means you can take better care of your teeth – brushing and flossing as you normally would. You can also remove the aligners for special occasions or when participating in contact sports, ensuring that your treatment fits seamlessly into your daily routine.

Eat, drink:

With Invisalign, you can continue to enjoy your favorite foods without the restrictions imposed by traditional braces. Since the aligners are removable, you can eat whatever you like and then easily clean your teeth before putting the aligners back in.

Easy Maintenance:

Cleaning and maintaining Invisalign aligners is simple. Regular brushing and flossing, along with cleaning the aligners using the provided cleaning system, help keep your treatment on track and maintain optimal oral hygiene.

Predictable Results:

Invisalign utilises advanced technology to create a precise treatment plan, allowing you to visualise the expected results before even beginning the treatment. This means you will know what to expect and then time-frame as you transform your smile!

Everyone deserves a confident and beautiful smile.

Invisalign can treat most of the common orthodontic problems such as crowded teeth, overbites/underbites or gaps.

Crooked or crowded teeth can also cause excess wear and tear on the teeth, gums, and jaw muscles. If your teeth are misaligned, they can affect the way you articulate sound, causing problems with speech.

At Beach Dentists we believe that everyone deserves a confident and beautiful smile.
